PARALYMPIC FXC
The International FXC Federation (IFF) and the International FXC Organization (IFO) are proud to announce the launch of the Paralympic Fireball Extreme Challenge™️ (Paralympic FXC), marking a significant milestone in the evolution of this dynamic, inclusive, and coed team sport.
The creation of Paralympic FXC is driven by the same values that have always inspired the sport: inclusion, unity, and the Olympic spirit of determination, equality, inspiration, and courage.
THE DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
The development of Paralympic FXC began in 2022 in the United States, led by IFF’s CEO Max Bartoli, IFO President Fabiola Lopez Bartoli, and former US FXC National Team member Giorgetta Keuter. Tryouts took place in Washington DC and Queretaro, Mexico, with vital support from Queretaro FXC Delegate Imelda Montelongo Vazquez, the Club del Deporte Adaptador Municipal de Queretaro, and the Wheelchair Basketball team Corregidores, led by Aurelia Diaz Mendoza.
This collaborative effort ensured that Paralympic FXC is well-supported and thoroughly tested. Its inclusion in upcoming competitions and the 2025 FXC World Cup underscores its importance and the commitment of the IFF and IFO.
